I did a bit of club jumping today while my energy was replenishing. I think I may have a couple ideas for next week if we are going to try this again. While jumping, I happened to get into the club that fscubs came from.

From what I see and have read, it may be best to start a new club on Monday with a team that has a very low ranking. Make the club private so it is the same members of heavy support. That way during the week we would be in lower tier groups and should be able to accumulate all of the rewards as well. When the weekend starts, we go from Friday to Sunday accumulating points. It would also distract other people from joining in and attempting a Sunday run. Next Monday. We create a different club and repeat again.

That's really smart actually. I think if you finish first all week they may remove you from that division though.

I think the way around it would be to delete the "creator" every week and re load the game. For example deleting it off your I pad and then restarting and Gerri g back up to novice. If we can figure out a way to do two accounts in one device, I could do it also. That way the "creator" always stays at a low level while the rest of the group reaps the weekend players and gets better.

Mike, that sounds like a plan to me if everyone is in.

When a team leaves the group do the points that they got while with the club stay with the club. I ask because if you have two teams you could keep swaping between the two to maximize points for the club granted only one of your teams would benefit but that could really help on Tuesday Thursday and weekend events. Right?

Yes the points stay. If you notice, when you return to a club, your individual points will say zero, but your club contribution will still show your previous earnings.

This might be due to the players I have batting leadoff and 2, but if my leadoff hitter is the first batter at the plate to start an inning, and he gets on first, I've never had a pitcher try to pick him off or throw a pitchout. Obviously he leads off to start the first but any other inning where the leadoff hitter is the first hitter at bat, and he reaches first, I run a straight steal and take the pitch to get him in scoring position with no outs. Then I try to bunt him to third with my 2 hitter and give my 3 and 4 hitters each a chance to get him across the plate. If the 2 hitter reaches on a bunt single the pitcher will try to pick him off about 50% of the time so it's a gamble to run him, but that leadoff hitter can run without fear. The only time I don't do this is when my opponent way out ranks me in upgrades.
I've been paying attention to this for about 500 games now and if a batter other than my leadoff hitter reaches first to start an inning, occasionally the pitcher will either try to pick him or throw a pitchout so I've found it's important to only do this with the leadoff man unless you want to chance it.
I'd be interested to hear if you guys experience this too or if this is purely a result of the game's algorithm based who my 1 and 2 hitters are. My 2 hitter just changed last night with a new player added so I'll update this if I notice something difference today.

My method of speed forfeiting: 1. Start a random game 2. Immediately forfeit random game before taking an at bat 3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 over and over and over again. Like 30 times. 4. All of the other random games that others begin with you when you start a random game should start showing up in "your turn" in the bottom of the first. 5. Immediately forfeit those games without taking an at bat. If the other team scored on you in the top of the 1st, you'll lose a division win. If not, no big deal, no time wasted, and move on to the next game. Beats the hell out of going inning by inning, swinging way too early at 9 straight pitches and hoping the other guy gets one across so you can do it all over again.
I know this is a huge dick move to someone wanting to get a good game going, but if they score on you they at least get the win and whatever reward comes with it ($4000, franchise coin, whatever).

Good system bigflyguy- yeah I usually don't mind when people forfeit. I like the cash. Never had a problem with moving up till now.
