Just picked up Salvador Perez 5/8/2 who auto replaced AJ Pierzynski 8/4/2?
Who would you rather have more reliable or more power?

To me that depends on the rest of your lineup. What you need more of rather than what you have.
But I should recuse myself from any final decision since I'm from KC, love Salvy, and still despise AJ from his days with Chi Sox, I can't render an unbiased opinion.
Did you here Perez had written into the extension he signed this offseason to donate a million to building a baseball field for inner city youth?
Around that same time AJ got tossed out of a spring training game. How big of an asshole do you have to be to get tossed in spring training?

Bwahaha at bigfly. I'd go PĂ©rez all day. He was my catcher before Mauer and he out played his numbers most of the time. He hits really well for a 5 hitter.

Im always going for hits.ore base runners more runs. I didnt like Perez and I loved having Aj. Now I have Hundley and he is my best catcher yet 8-5-5

I've been playing Russell Martin forever now. Goes yard like every 11 ABs, but he's been dry humping the Mendoza line since day one.

Usually would agree redlegs.
In 15 I built my team for hits and in 16 I built for power. Power steals me more games in my opinion. When your facing a pitcher that's on you can get 5-6 hits but if they are all singles your not going to score. When you build for power you may only get 2 or 3 hits but you will probably score at least once. Just my 2 cents. It's really down to personal preference and what you need more. If your entire lineup can hit 480ft home runs then I'd probably choose the hitting.
