Hey all. Starting to work on a plan for next week.
I can tell you this- we definitely don't need to bother getting accolades. They're great but we all saw what happens this weekend.
For me at least, the clubs are great but all I need from them is the player. Don't needs picks and such anymore.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks guys

I think we should have 2 again for the weekend. It seems that both clubs will be able to finish in 1st this weekend and it benefits more people and people's second teams.
However, maybe the weekend could have one group that is going for first and landmark points to get all of the picks, franchise coins, cash and bonus games, while the other is just worried about finishing first in the division.
Or maybe there is a set group of people that want to compete in a group together during the week to get all of those benefits during the week. I know I will still be active during the week, and as you saw by my team I could still use the picks and such.
Another option would be to consolidate the number of total members and have one group set each week that goes for accolades during the week to help get total points in the weekend, disregarding finishing position to reach the landmark figures, and another group starting up later in the weekend going for the player and then having people cash out on both rewards. Just my thoughts.

All good ideas Redlegs. Couple of issues though.
1- when you get accolades during the week you get put into divisions with a lot of heavy hitters. It's possible to win in those I'd just need so much support from pretty much everyone. Some people can't be on as much as I can and trust me I get that.
2- I know those progress rewards look great. Specially the 5 million points one. Problem is that while 5 million is very doable it does take a significant amount of time. For me, I can do 5 million alone but that time commitment, if I don't want to spend real money, would probably be around a 6-8 hour chunk. I don't have that much time generally speaking.

I really hate to continuously bring up the time aspect but it's my one limitation at this point.

There are a few teams that are only going for the prime players (like Nick) and then there are many teams like myself that needs those draft picks to become more competitive so we can get to the point where Nick, rocky and others are at.
I truly believe the answer lies in the systematic and scheduled movement to new clubs at strategically advantageous times. At least until we all become able to slay legends.
Can someone who's been around awhile make a list of what teams are in the club and how those teams are affiliated with one user and to parent teams?
If we have a master list of members (whether they've bothered to come to the forum or not) we can start putting together a plan of attack that is most beneficial to every member. And we can divide up the workload too so everyone can have a life outside of tap sports baseball.

To me I'd rather just go for the weekend win. I've only got 2 five star players out of all the #1 picks I've opened. Plus it give Nick, Mike, and the other heavy hitters that carry us some time to chill from the game. That is if they want that.

I posted this is heavyrocky chat and messaged it to nicks new team also. Nicks club from this last weekend is in the same club division as heavyrocky (and currently in first place). I think that is a clear indication that both clubs need to shut down and reboot as 2 new clubs. It makes me think glu dumped all of the 1st place finishers in the same club division to fight it out and get more of the big time players using up gold and having to buy more. Glu is a company after all.
It would be interesting to have 2 clubs intentionally finish 2nd today and see where they're both at tomorrow. And see if other in-division clubs have a lifetime club win or not.
