Hey all. Just updated yet again and stickied! Very good stuff to get contructive criticism about your team. Still need 2 bullpen arms and replacements for Machado and Harper. Also going to replace Kershaw and Dickey soon enough.
Here's my batting order (changes vs left and vs right handed pitchers) This just happens to be vs right handers
1- Crawford (p) 9-6-10 2- Trout (e) 10-10-9 3- Mauer (p) 10-9-4 4- Harper (5) 9-9-4 5- Pujols (p) 10-10-4 6- Texiera (p) 8-10-3 7- Reyes (p) 9-5-10 8- Pedroia (p) 10-4-8 9- Machado (5) 7-9-7
Bench and options 1- Braun (5) 7-9-9 2- Goldschmidt (5) 9-9-6 3- Rizzo (5) 7-9-7 Option1- Cruz (5) 8-9-2 Option 2- Betts (5) 8-5-8 Option 3- Donaldson (5) 8-9-3 Option 4- Cespedes (5) 8-9-5 Option 5- Arenado (5) 7-9-4 Option 6- Cabrera (5) 9-6-2
Starting rotation improved too.
1- Verlander (p) 9-9-10 2- Sabathia (p) 8-10-10 3- Peavy (p) 10-8-10 4- Kershaw (5) 9-9-9 5- Dickey (p) 5-8-10
Extra starters. 1- Arrieta (5) 7-8-9 2- Bumgarner (5) 8-9-8
Just need to finish this now. Stupid bullpen.
Long- Givens (4.5) 9-8-7 RP1- Romo (4.5) 9-6-6 RP2- Rondon (5) 7-8-9 SM- O'day (5) 9-8-8 CL- Uehara (5) 9-8-9
Its getting really tough to get better now. I'm starting to have to be a little more selective on the prime players. Eventually I would like to get better players to replace Dickey and Crawford but they work for now.

Does what player you have at MR matter from an endurance standpoint? This is a weak spot I'm trying to replace?

I like to have one long guy with 3 endurance to eat innings when needed. Givens does a terrible job but it works for garbage time. What I do if it's a shootout is change my pitchers until one works then use a bunch of energy drinks.

I stickied this thread. Bumping it now for new views.
Id love to get everyone's team in here. I'll clean it up (thanks for making me a moderator Deez) if it's gets a little too tough to read.

Awesome. I bet your prime players win a lot of games for you. They are a huge mismatch where you are in the game.

Yeah they are a huge help! I don't think Dickey had lost a game yet

A lot of guys forget that it's better to have 3 prime players at a low level than a team full of primes at a high level. My prime guys are just above average players not huge dominant forces

INACTIVE Peavy (SP) 4/8/7
Would you replace my SUB Granderson with any of my inactives?
I know I need a catcher and bullpen upgrades, just can't get them.
Lackey and Wainwright need to go. Sabathia will get rid of one of them. Never liked Peavy.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I wouldn't swap Granderson. I like to have a home run hitter on the bench. I try to put one of the following: one power guy one singles guy and one pinch runner.
Other than that your lineup looks great. What I would work on is your pitching. I'm guessing you have to win a lot of 17-16 type games.

Gotta have the one of each on the bench.
